STEVES_KIKI Apr 21, 2008 12:16 PM

My albino stripe is in her nest box and has already shed.... i palpated about 5 eggs... Shes known to produce small clutches even though she eats small rats. BUT Last year she only laid 3 eggs and 2 hatched... 1 was deformed... but is still kickin'. Cant wait for the lil eggs.... almost all of my corns have already laid. but i'm really looking forward to these

thanks for looking!!

well, last year i got a 50/50 female and a deformed male....
heres Kabookie:

and my deformed male Lumpy:

hoping for some non-deformed babies.... the power was off for a few hours last year due to a power thingy explosion so the incubator might have gotten hot....

That 50/50 is nice! I think I remember you posting lumpy. Is that the one that can pass its food alright and is still alive?

yep- both are going strong. i couldnt put Lumpy down knowing he was eating ok. it just needs help shedding every once in a while.... which i dont mind doing. Kabookie is hilarious! She sticks her tongue out of the holes of the sterolite container when she i guess smells we come into the room. its real cute. Lumpy will not be a breeder... but Kabookie was and is such a nice 50/50 i HAD to keep her!!! and thanks for the compliments

Your welcome. I think its a great thing you both decided to keep the deformed hatchling and give him a chance at life, where most others would have put him down. Hopefully things will turn out better this time.
