I was flipping tin in area that is know for Eastern Milks and red-sieded Garters.
These two were getting ready to mate in the grass on the way to the site.

Heres a red-sided but it didnt stick around long enough to get a good pic.

Hey Chris.... what kind of Garters are those. I have a picture of a snake that sorta looks like that that I would like identified but I don't know how to get it on the forum. I can send it email if anyone will give me an addy to send it to.

Thank you Wayne for putting them on for me. Sorry about the quality. The light parts of the snake are gold and the dark parts are black. It ate both mice and fish. I think it's a garter. What do ya all think?
