I want to buy an argentian tegu not a colombian. How can you tell which one you are looking at if you are at a reptile show for example. Like a pointy snout vs. round.

Argentine tend to have more white on their head while colombians are almost all black with white speckling. You will need to look at them and compare. Thats the only quickest way I recognize the difference. Here is a picture of my Adult Argentine. Notice he has much more white on the head than colombians do when you see one.
