This was the only picture I could find of a Coluber sinai. They look similar, but the head on yours looks very different IMO.

Hey Dan,
This is William. If you have any questions concerning any egyptian snakes let me know. I have a lot of knowledge in that area. EIRENIS CORONELLA is what you have, common name does not really matter but I would not call it a dwarf sinai. Sinai Banded Racers(Platyceps sinai) are in a different genus. Crowned Dwarf Snake is one common name. Keep in touch if you get anything I am interested in!

Just wondering if you could have a guess at these snakes for me.
They were sold as egyptian racers, though whether they actually came from egypt is questionable.


I was thinking maybe rhodorachis but I'm sure i found another picture that was very close.
One thing i can say is that you bleed a lot from such a tiny bite when they chew.
