JasonW Apr 29, 2008 06:20 PM

Anyone ever make this cross? I have a couple adult breeder female Corns and a breedable male Pacific Gopher and was wandering. Pictures would be great.

Approximately 5/8 bull, 3/8 corn

Mother of the snake above

Approximately 3/4 corn, 1/4 bull. This is the father of the snake in the top picture

The father is a corn x king hybrid. Distortion is due to the snake moving while being scanned.

7/8 corn, 1/8 bull brothers. Notice the size difference.

Wow, some of those look very cornish. I can't believe you scanned a snake! lol

Unfortunately, the amelanistics look even more so. What I really want are fast growing designer snakes that don't look like either corns or bulls. I'll be using kingsnakes to breed in colors and patterns. I don't want king behavior, though, and I want adults somewhat larger than corns. Ideally, they would behave like a corn and be even less picky about what they eat.

Not hard to do except that it takes one person to hold the snake down and another to do the scan.
