We just got back from releasing a bunch of dekay yearlings.

Every time I release snakes the seperation is a bitter sweet feeling.

They all had a great head start, now they can enjoy freedom

More herps than I could ever list out back on the land.

That's a great thing to do - I'm all for keeping a herp a little while to educate the kids (or yourself - which I've done a couple times) and then letting them go after a little while.
