Gecko Prices

nfs07 May 12, 2008 11:34 AM

I have been looking around for awhile now with the idea of buying one or two geckos. I have noticed one thing that all the sites have in common, all have prices that blow me away. What is it about geckos that make the so pricey?

Depends on what geckos your looking at. Can be anything from how hard they are to breed, to morph, to where they are from. There is alot of factors that go into the pricing.

I have been looking at LG, CG, and AFTG. The prices for all three even just as normals the price is higher then what I thought it would be.

You can find babys of all three around the 30-50 dollar mark if you keep your eyes open. One of the best places to find cheaper prices is go to reptile shows. Or contact a breeder and see what they will sell you a normal for. Alot of breeders let their normals go pretty cheap.
