New Gargoyle

avdnco May 15, 2008 10:21 PM

After holding some of his brother's geckos, and looking at the requirements of other pet lizards, My 10 year old son decided to go for a Gargoyle Gecko because " they are cool, and a good easy pet to take care of for a first one". I'm very happy not to have to add a new feeding/care regimen to our 'zoo'.
So far he has been really good about taking care "Ironman" all by himself.I'm so Proud of him. :D

Thanks to Anthony Caponetto for such a handsome healthy animal and a smooth easy transaction!

Andrea, the gargoyle looks great. I wish I could get my boys to take care of the pets they just HAD to have. I guess it's OK though, they wind up MINE this way .

LOL. My younger son has a pair of prolific cresties,I end up taking care of them aside from him occasionally spraying them. To add insult to injury, he won't let me sell off any babies!
So we're up to 10 now! He did negotiate his own trade ... 2 baby Cresties for a baby gargoyle (not the one pictured). Not bad for a 6yr old.
Since getting his own gargoyle, my older boy has been very helpful taking care of all of them... It's quite nice to do some mother son bonding.
