My newly rescued sulcata

blupanther May 16, 2008 05:24 PM

He is just 12 inches strait line. My best bet is it's a male based on a slightly concave plastron and the gular scutes starting to enlarge. He was rescued from New York to Florida by a guy who has a 30 inch male, but he only kept this one for a couple weeks because his dog kept fipping/chewing it. He is absolutely loving the South Florida sun and enjoys grazing all day on my 1/3 acre mixed weed filled lawn.
