water dragon feaces in water dish

just wondered if any one new if this was normal i clean my wd water dish every morning but he seams to like to empty his bowels in it frequently so have to keep changing the water does any one have same problem

Waterdragons "always" use the water as a washroom. Your water dragon should have a dish of water big enough that it can fit in it. It only needs to be deep enough that the back is covered when the dragon is in it..the head will be above the water.

Yes!,My male AWD does it all the time! Personally I like the idea,it's easier to change his water than to clean the cage! Take care!, Jeff

Just get a very small toilet instead of a water bowl and your bedding lasts forever!

get a filter. if the dish is big enough? how big is it? i just have the entire 5 inches of my wd tank filled with water. it's actually much easier to clean and keep clean with filters that way.
