Ace May 19, 2008 11:28 AM

My knoblochi just laid a clutch of eggs this weekend, 5 good one bad. I have a question on what is the best lizard to use for scenting for knoblochi hatchlings? Thanks!!!

Bad pic of her in her tub.......

I would recommend, if you have the means, fence lizards (Sceloporus). Otherwise, you may fare well with an anole or house gecko, but I'd recommend the fence lizard first.

Thanks Jerry!! There is a show coming up in 2 weeks, so I was going to pick a few up for freezing for when they hatch out. How about small skinks if I can't find any fence lizards?

Certainly can't hurt as a back-up.
