ID this florida skink

So far I have identified 8 species of lizards in my backyard. Eastern glass lizards, cuban brown anoles, cuban knight anoles, brown basilisks, common green iguanas, tropical house geckos, northern curlytailed lizards, and this skink, which I believe is a subadult five lined or southeastern five lined that already has the center line faded, but still has his blue tail. Funny that of the 8, only 2(the glass and the skink)are native.

I now live in north carolina and we have something here that looks like them. I am not a native of nc and was told the are poisionous? Are they native to north carolina? Does their tails stay blue all of their lives?

sorry but i know nothing about them..

They are NOT poisonous/venomous. That's an old country myth. As far as the blue tail, I've not known any to keep it into adulthood. I wish they would though

That started because cats/dogs that eat them get sick for a few hours but other pets like roosters can eat them with no problem.
