Anything new among potential morphs?

biophiliacs May 22, 2008 04:19 PM

Hello, see some new faces here.. thats always nice to see. Curious to hear if there has been any progress among the more interesting dumerils boa around. Bill's orange morph, whatever happened to arancio phase animal, Paul have something neat? Didn't have a decent male ready to breed so I coasted out last fall. Still have all of the boas I had 2 years back and will have some sort of lighter phase f3 this next season. Maybe get some current event pictures up as soon as I reactivate my kingsnake account.

There is a picture of my orange male in this forum posted on 11-17-07. Just scroll down. It is really hard to get his true colors. Although he is not as nice as he was as a baby he is still a unique snake. Thanks Bill

How's it going? I layed off breeding the Dumerils a little bit since I seemed to be getting more than I could readily sell. I did put them back together this season though and the hypo/pastel seems to have done his job. We'll see later this season what comes from it. I think Jason got rid of his female hypo and his male "Arancio". Expecting any babies this season?

I have some projects I am working with. I am hoping these pics uploaded. I have been having trouble. The first couple is of a female that should be ready to breed this upcoming season. The pic of the baby was produced last year by a sibling male of the female. He is not as colorful but produced alot of nice babies. This baby was extremely light. The others are losing there black in the saddles and turing orange every shed. I also produced some one of a kind mad ground boas. Not sure were to post pics of them. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Your female on the link is the closest dumerils I've seen to the orange varieties I've been producing. I would say the same phase color actually. Very nice looking boa. As far as if I have anything this season I would doubt it very much. I did pair off two sets of females from f1/f2 groups but I hope they didn't take since my preferred male will be ready next season. I'll cya all around, take care.

The third picture... well he he/she is gorgeous! They're all beautiful, but for some reason, that one just popped out at me and smacked me in the face, LoL.
