how to find the age of the snake?

bloodsrock21 May 28, 2008 04:54 PM

How do you determine the age of the snake? I have a 7ft long female dumeril boa that I bought a year and half ago and the owner told me that she was 3 years old. I want to verify that it is her real age for breeding purposes.

That would be a huge three year old!

yeah, I know thats what I thought. I am still trying to figure out how old she really is unless there is no way to determine that. Then I am [bleep] outta luck haha.

If she is seven feet, she is breeding size. Once they are over 3-4 years old they are mature enough to breed, size is more of a determining factor.
