Heating a rubbermade enclosue! (HELP!!)

rockieedward May 29, 2008 09:10 AM

I bought a 25 gallon rubbermaid like storage container, its huge and very nice, its called "Ultra" I need to heat one side of it but I don't want it to melt; I need an undertank heater that won't melt it.

I heard that the Zoo-Med 1-5 gallon Undertank heater will not melt plastic but I'm just worried.

Please, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Samantha

You can try getting a thermostat. Here's the link to one.

easy. just use a heating pad to place under one area, it will not melt the plastic. it should have a variable setting.
