clark's or t-rex?

annaisagecko Jun 05, 2008 12:40 PM

what is the better RPM and why is it better then the other?
the place i'm thinking about buying a crestie from uses clark's but it seems the t-rex repashy formula is more readily available, But on the other hand the breeder i'm thinking about buying from carries the clark's so i'm trying to figure out which is more worth it,

thank you in advice for your time and info!

I have used clark's before but it isn't a complete meal replacement..you will have to still feed insects with that diet. Thus, the T-rex one is better, since it is a complete diet.

ok thank you i was just making sure before i bought anything, btw would you think that a 30x30x45cm12"x12"x18" Exo-Terra tank is big enough for housing two females without confrontation?

it depends on how big they are - you could really only fit 1 or 2 juvenile geckos in that tank. by the time you know they are female, they probably will outgrow that pretty quickly.

Yes that cage is pretty small. I house my geckos adults bigger cages than that... A 18"x18"x24" (with height being the greatest dimension) would be better for a pair of adult crested geckos...though 24"x24"x30" would be best for a trio (two females and a male)

>>24"x24"x30"

is that a typo? that's over 70 gallons, even the 2 new exo terra sizes aren't that big, they're like 50 and 60 gallons. you could put a whole harem of geckos in there!
