I need help with my pixie frog. He is about 2 years old weighs around 5 pounds. He is a very big boy. A few months ago he scraped one of his back toes on a rock in his tank. It didn’t look very bad at the time so I didn’t think much off it. Recently it has got worse. It has swollen and recently started to bleed. I have washed it off with a very mild iodine mixture just to clean the wound up a bit. I don’t live near any vets who deal with frogs. He doesn’t seam to be in any pain but it doesn’t look very good. Any help would be great thank you

You can treat it with Neosporin or other triple anitbiotic cream(WITHOUT PAIN RELEIVER)to help it heal up a little faster. I would also put him into a tank with just clean paper towels and some water for awhile until it heals up.

Thats a huge frog only 2 years old what kind of steroids are feeding that frog. Boy by the time hes 4 years old size of king kong. Why is he bleeding was he bit by a rat? I would kill his food first. very nice frog.
