pin head garter snake? please identify

i found this snake near kansas city. it was found in an area that has garter snakes. it has a tiny, pin head. i doubt it's a garter snake. can anyone identify it? i will try to attach a photo to this post, but if i am unsuccessful please go to the photo board where i have already uploaded a pic. thanks, rusty

It looks to me like a lined snake, Tropidoclonion lineatum. They look pretty similar to gartersnakes but as you pointed out the heads are small and pointy. I'm not too great on my central US snakes though so someone else can tell you more or call me a liar entirely.
