i really enjoyed your website, i went back to 2005.
i found these guys in arizona last year right around this time. sorry for the fuzzy pics, i was just learning how to use my camera then. we found several other animals but these are the only pics i have uploaded. i went to anza-borrego 2 weeks ago and it was teaming with desert herps on the road. it was great. and we did a little 4X4ing and found a billion dessert iguanas.



What is that first snake? It sure is unique looking. Nice looking Coleonyx.

i heard it was a Pima Leaf Nose, if i remember correctly. aparently they eat geckos only...
Thank you both for those great pics. I was always surprised that banded geckos being as cute and neat as they are never caught on .
I looked into them but here its a pain to get anything but adult crickets and breeding them to get tiny ones looks like a pain so never got any but they are great looking underrated little geckos.
You guys are lucky living in a state with them
