Newest masticophis

KevColubrid Jun 15, 2008 11:41 AM

I just added a new addition to my ever-expanding collection of masticophis, a gorgeous six foot central texas whipsnake. This thing is unreal, gorgeous red highlights with a pink tail. It slams rat pinkies like there's no tommorow, and is actually fairly mellow for the species. Pictures coming soon!

Rumor has it that you had to parachute in to the area in which these monster whipsnakes are found and hike out over a three day period. Sure would like to see a picture of that record monster. I saw one quite some years ago and had to use my snake repellant to keep from being attacked.

You heard it right. It made the jungles of vietnam look like a child's playhouse where this monster was found. I had to fight off a flock of rabid bats, the highway patrol, a small bear, and a crowd of emory-crazy fools to get to it, using only my snake hook, oversized cobra tongs, and bible to fend off the enemy. It was quite an ordeal, you should have been there
