Red Tegu pricing questions

gordano Jun 16, 2008 04:39 PM

If I were to buy a red Tegu at a reptile show, what would I expect to pay? Thanks.

It really depends on the age and the seller. I've seen babies sell for $125-$150, and I've seen older juveniles/adults sell for $299. A lot depends on the quality of the lizard itself and how badly the owner wants to sell it or the buyer wants to get it! The value of anything is what two people agree it is worth, especially at reptile shows where there may be competitors under the same roof, or it may be the only one in the building.
