Dart frog eggs!! some help neded

meme_cantu Jun 16, 2008 08:00 PM

Hi guys

I have a mixed vivarium with leucs, tintics and painted mantellas inside. I found a clutch of eggs floating in the water! I took the eggs out and put them on a dish with water. Is there any possibility of damage due that they were in full water? (please don't start a discusion on mixing species, all of them are ok, no fight and all eating well, please look the real question)

Thanks
Manuel Cantu

well, if you are keeping tincs and leucs together then there is a chance for hybridization, so please destroy the eggs. there should be no damage from them being temporarily covered in water (assuming they weren't in very deep water) but again if they may be hybrids you should not raise them.
