froggy eye rubbing

ranaphile3141 Jun 21, 2008 04:11 PM

Help!
Does anybody know any reason that froggies would be rubbing their eyes more than usual. They eat, poop, molt, and do everything that healthy froggies usually do, but recently I have been having unexpected deaths amongst frogs that also seemed healthy to me. There are four of them in the tank and all of them rub enough for me to have taken notice, and one in particular has kind of cloudy eyes also.
Please, if anybody has any good ideas about this I would be extremely grateful. I have been bouncing around diseases and disorders that I think that it could be, which is probably just making me more crazy and worked up, you know?

what type of water are you using?

have you added anything new to their tank recently?

are there any live plants in the tank that you might not have washed thoroughly.

what type of calcium/vitamin dusts are you using?

type of light bulb?

placement of tank in the room?

are these WC or CB/B animals? were they every quarantined separately before being introduced together?
