Mossy Oak Gecko??

shannon20019 Jun 24, 2008 09:22 AM

I was at a reptile show recently and saw a gecko that was very neat. It was called a Mossy Oak Gecko and was very big. I'm just curious if anyone knows any good websites or really anything about this kind of gecko.I've been searching and have had no luck finding it..thanks in advance!

I'll bet the link that Bianca gave you is correct. Its a uroplatus sp. gecko. They get super long! People kill common names. Thats why its good to rely on latins. Unfortunately, the vendors that deal in wild caughts don't know the latins and most of the time the common names on their import invoice is incorrect. Then you have the morons that are clueless from the get go and call it a Mossy Oak Gecko...mind you, Mossy Oak is a company that produces camoflauge prints for hunters. At least they didn't call it a Mossy Oak Geiko...(as I slap my hand to my forehead!)
