Please help, unsure if snapper is injured

snapper23 Jun 24, 2008 04:22 PM

My baby alligator snapper somehow got out of his 20 gallon tank which is about 17 inches off the hard ground. I can't tell if it sustained any injuries but does any one know if that height of a fall will cause those turtles to be injured? I know hamsters and stuff can fall from a distance without hurting themselves but I don't know about turtles. Thanks!
