No, I really am curious. I was going through the reptile collection at BYU and saw som incredibly huge S. clarkii and S. cyanogenys. Just want to know what others got huge (bigger than any Crotaphytus sp.)

I actually did a quick search but only came up with the largest in cali, the Sceloporus magister uniformis - Yellow-backed Spiny Lizard. Does that count?

That does count, I've seen some huge magister in St. George, Ut area but I know there are some from Mexico that dwarf magister.

I have heard of cyanogenys being touted as the largest of the spineys on more than one occasion.

Its the Giant Texas Blue Spiny! I have 6 3-4 month old babies here, and was researching when they become sexually mature because mine are already starting to look like monsters. So I found this:

Blue Spiny Lizards are the largest of all native Spiny lizards.

Here is the source. You'll have to scroll down, and there is a pic of a woman holding a MONSTER blue spiny!

They are gonna eat me out of house and home!
