I'm beginning to research potentially getting an iguana down the line. One thing I've seen recommended is getting a cage that opens in the front such as a reptarium because it's less stressful on the animal when you take it out.

Does anyone know if the aluminum screen cages they use for chameleons work for iguanas. Particularly babies/young ones.

Just curious since I already have several of these.

These would work well for a young iguana. You need to be wary to larger animals as they get strength they can tear screening, but by that point they would need a larger cage anyhow.

Also as you look into getting an ig, consider adoption as there are igs of all sizes available.
