I got my desert dandelions, creosote and nasturtium seeds in the mail today. Should I wait to plant them until early spring or just go for it and order more if they die off in the fall?

If they are perreniels I would go ahead and plant. If you are warm enough all year plant the nasturtiums if not wait until the spring. Tom
Thanks Tom. I am planting all of them in containers, so I can protect them if it freezes. I live in the Houston area, and we haven't had a serious freeze in a few years, but we do sometimes have whole weeks that the temps stay in the 40s or below. That usually doesn't happen until Dec. or Jan. and only lasts until early march. People around here plant hybiscus right in the ground and it lives through the winter.
I planted the nasturtiums this morning, and will plant the dandelion bush as soon as I get more soil. I assume that it needs a big pot. I'll wait until early spring for the creotsote. They take up to several months to germinate, so I will probably start them in winter and just keep the pots indoors until spring.
