Hey Rose! They were released... in our back yard that is.
It's our contribution to the L.A beautification program.:P
You should see our yard this time of year. Hatchlings everywhere from the adults we released in the past.

That is SO cool! I wish that I lived in an area where I could hatch and release spinys. All we have around here are anoles, geckos, salamanders and small skinks. Now I do have a few "pet" wild anoles and geckos free roaming my wildlife room where I keep the feeder bugs. They clean up the escapees and any other bugs that wander in. They invited themselves, and boy are they fat! I never did get the hang of unpacking bugs without escapes!
