boiga question

toddbecker Jul 23, 2008 07:45 AM

I currently have a large male mangrove(boiga dendrophila meanota) and am going to the Hamburg show next month to pick him up a mate and have been considering picking up a pair of black Saluwasi Mangroves (Boiga dendrophila gemmicincta). I was wondering if any others have a comparison on the two sub-species. are they relatively same in attitude and temperment. Any major differences in the care and caging. I am pretty sure they will be the same but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

I keep (and kept) both Boiga dendrophila melanota en Boiga dendrophila gemmicincta and I kept them just under the same circumstances and they did okay for me.
