What is wrong with my iguana's tail?

dave88 Jul 25, 2008 06:29 PM

the end of my iguana's tail is all swollen up. It looks like maybe some dead skin is constricting it. I tried to get the dead skin off but only a little came off and it seems like the rest is stuck on.

I would look at getting him to a vet. Its hard to tell if it is regrowth or necrotic tissue.

Or could it be an abscess? Definitely time for a vet visit.
