First Look At 2008 Class

AllanBartlett Jul 28, 2008 05:44 PM

Hot off the presses, here are a few pics of some of my first 2008 clutch of agalmas to pip and hatch. The best looking ones will be from the second clutch. Stay tuned for those. These guys aren't too shabby though. I went out of my way to breed a high band count normal looking male to one of my very refined light orange/little black females.

some real crazy looking heads on these first ones out

Those are absolutely splendid babies! Congratulations!
Peter54 hatched out a clutch of knobs some of which had this interesting arrow head marking which I thought was quite unique. Please excuse the fuzzy image...I cut and enlarged it to show the head close up.

Hey Allan, that one baby with it's head at the top of the pic reminded me of a vanilla ice cream cone, LOL. The other one in the pic is not too far off from that either. Now go do a band count......

The count was 53 for two the babies(snout to vent) and the other was about 45 from what I remember. The second clutch is pipping right now. Last night the first one that popped out of the second clutch was the best one I think I've ever produced.
