New Dumerils Need opinions

Porsche Jul 28, 2008 10:38 PM

These babies were born here June 20, 2008, we've been hearing about Hypo Dumerils, and wondered what they looked like as babies. Here are a few pics of our new additions. These are the most colorful Dums we have ever seen. Opinions Please!

Those are some good lookin' babies. But, they look like normal dumerils with good color. Real hypo's have ALOT less brown to them, and a cleaner pattern. What you have seen in the classifieds for sale as hypo's are not. The only true hypo's that I know of are in Germany.

Those are some awesome lookin's babies you got, no matter what anyone says!!

"Rosa" seems to be a T positive rather than hypo, as far as the German "hypo".

That could easily be the case. All of the "hypo" dumerils I have seen for sale here in the states have lighter backgrounds with less trash (speckling), but their saddles and side blotches tend to be darker than those of normal dum's. Nevertheless they are awesome looking animals.

After finding the link to the German website, we tend to agree, she looks like a T Albino.
