Mother of the E.R. Litter (Prev. Post)

Porsche Jul 29, 2008 09:32 AM

Here are pics of Ruby, the mother of the afore mentioned babies. She is the reddest Dumeril we have ever seen, as well as having reduced black pigment. We consider her a Hypo, so would that not make the babies Het Hypo? We have been told there is such a thing as Het Hypo in the Dumeril world. So what do you think? Do you have a link to the Hypos in Germany? Would love to see them!

She is absolutely beautiful!!!

I had a male that was colored like her at one time, and after about 4yrs his color started to darken and eventually he looked like a normal dum.

Thank you!
We love her coloration, she's 6 years old, and her color is still the same.

shes pretty really nice red not a hypo though, the ones in germany are t positive albinos not hypos, when the guy first put his site up there was confusion due to the langauge barrier, the pics of your babies below are some really nice looking normals they have nice contrast but again not hypo, you have some very nice animals above average by all means but nothing to get excited over as for color muations

color mutations within dumerils IMO will never go any where in The US you talking about a gene pool that was started from 28 legally imported animals back 20-30yrs ago, you look at how much color mutations weaken common boas, the gene pool there is as good as it can get they still bring in thousands of fresh animals every year, still even with a very strong gene pool you get one eyeds, and kinked goofy things going on, if you can get any of these guys who bread large numbers of albino boas even hypos and some of the other mutations to be honest with you theres alot of goofy stuff that goes on due to the weekness of the color mutations, they just dont advertise it, now you aplyt that to a species that should have been popping 3 sets of jaws 14 eyes and 7 tounges along time ago, color mutations are not going to go anywhere

the one true hypo in the US is a female she has never produced anything viable, her father and some of her siblings have produced some normals that lived but all hypos were still born or to badly kinked, so I hope that kind of fills ya in a bit, anyway best of luck

I love my country but I'm scared to death of its government
Ya believe what you read cause it's all that we give ya
Cause all of history is written by winners
I'm engaged in a frenzy of mass self-destruction
I feed upon your famine to fuel my corruption
I'm wholeselling hatred and international incest
To carnivorous hyenas in a global theft fest
I've mastered the arts of death and foreign nations genocide
And those who turn on me commit national suicide

I'm the queen of the global dream
And I rule a declining nation
I sit and watch all the violent screams
From the throne of your desperation

Go to www.pythons-boas.de, it will give you options for german or english language sites. They are really awesome looking snakes. Unfortunately none are for sale.
