New Dumeril Father

Porsche Jul 29, 2008 09:40 AM

Here is Elvis, the father of the babies. We had to snap pics when he was eating, because he wouldn't sit still! To us, he is awfully light. The other Dumerils we have had in the past are very dark by comparison. We thought this would be the perfect pairing, based on coloration. Which leads to another question, do they darken with age? Or does the color intensify? Or does it depend on the parents?

I have a 19 year old pair of Dumerils and they have not darkened with age one little bit. They look exactly the same as when they where yearlings.
