I offer my leopard frogs

booja Aug 03, 2008 01:46 PM

worms and crickets, only one of them will actually eat them, they just in the last few weeks turned into frogs, they don't have their tails, the one that does eat is the first one that turned into a frog, are the others sick or just not hungry? I also have Frog and Tadpole sinkable pellet things that I put in the tank in the mornings so they could be eating those but I don't know for sure.

The other ones may not be ready to eat yet. Transformation from tadpole to frog involves many changes both internally and externally. The long intestine of a vegetarian tadpole turns into the short intestine of a meat eating frog. That change takes time. So be patient. If tadpoles did not transform into frogs, they may have been classified as two different classes of vertebrates.
