A.capra information required

MarkW Aug 03, 2008 01:46 PM

Recently obtained a trio of these. Unfortunately one died within a few days, didn't look good once I got them home.

These two seem to be doing great. Only small svl about 3.5cm.

At what size should I be able to see sexual characteristics? There are some more available, am tempted to get a few more.

Thanks

Mark

I can't answer your question however I did have some information you might find useful. I discovered that my hatchlings love small silkworms and appear to be putting weight on faster now that I am feeding these a few at a day. Prior to that I was trying to get by on just small crickets. The silkworms are easy to produce if you have mulberry trees around (but you can get powdered food also). In just a few days they are now coming clear across their (small) tank to get the worms from my tongs.

Thanks for the advice, I will give that a go.
