A couple of days ago one of my female tentacled snakes dropped her first litter! Six neonates in all; five of which apparently drowned trying to shed (they were born overnight). I was somewhat surprised at how long they were (average of 9" total length); but I guess the light weight (average of three grams) makes up for it The lone survivor caught his/her first fish this afternoon! Cool stuff! I'll have pics up soon.

I have a pair of tentacled snakes and would love to breed them. Did you do anything special?

That is cool that you had a litter born...I also would like to know if you did anything special. I have a pair. Im thinking of housing them together soon...I aquired my male almost 2 months ago and have had my female for almost 1 1/2 years. Im only a little worried if they eat competitively like other snakes. I have seen others kept together so I am assuming no...but That is really the only thing I am worried about putting them together at this point...and also telling them apart.

can i ask where you got your snakes? i've been looking all over and i can't find them for sale.
