Lost Kingsnake will be killed.

REPTIE Aug 16, 2008 01:25 AM

I have a 2.5 foot Cal. kingsnake that got out a few days ago. I need to get him back as soon as I can because I have 2 inside dogs and 2 inside cats that will eat him if they get the chance. I also have 14 birds and 3 mice in my room that I don't want him to eat. What is the best way to get him back?

Tear the place apart if you can. Look absolutely everywhere, whether you think the snake can get into them or not. If that doesn't work you can put out a food item and wait and see if it comes out to eat it. Put flour on the floor and see if his movement makes tracks in it which you may be able to follow. Put tin cans behind furniture that he may knock over alerting you to his presence. Let us know if you find him.

Hope that helps
Mike
