heybridgett Aug 16, 2008 10:52 AM

so in his poop that was in his pool, there were little tiny white things like a fraction of the size of a grain of rice. about as big as a lowercase "l" in this type. they wern't moving, and sort of had a brownish ornage tip on one end of them! he only eats crickets and maybe flies if they get into his house. any help is appreciated!

THANKS!

Sounds like tape worms. They're spread by mosquitoes. They can become a problem, for sure.

There are plenty of things it could have been, grindel worms and nemerates come to mind. Grindle worms will come from the environement and nemerates come from inside the frog, but arn't that harmful. The only way to tell for sure it to get fecals done. I would get them done from dr. frye. http://fryebrothersfrogs.com.
