I'm about 75% sure it's male; I think I can see a bit of loose skin from the left vocal sac hanging out.

That's a female. No doubt about it. You can tell by the "ear drum". The male's are larger than their eye's just like the American bullfrogs are. The females are the same size or smaller than the eyes.
