question about amphibians

littlefilly Aug 31, 2008 09:42 AM

I am wanting to set up a large tank. But need to know what types of frogs, toads, ect. can live together without any problems? My kids are wanting something with color but I was told you can't mix different colored dart frogs.
Any and all advise would be greatly appriciated.
also if anyone has pics of their setups I would love to see them.
Thanks

You are correct about not mixing, it should not be done. Not only should frogs of different colors, but also frogs of different locale's. I would suggest starting off with something like fire bellied toads or whites treefrogs and not darts. You can e-mail me at otis07_@hotmail.com if you have any questions regarding their care, as I have kept both of them.
