I just build a cage for a veild i plan on getting soon and i spray painted it black and i was wondering if it will be okay to have my cham in it after its been sitting for a week.

If the paint surface is hard and you can't smell it should be OK. What kind of paint did you use? The main concern will be that over time and getting wet a lot the paint will eventually peel or flake. I hope you used a non-toxic latex paint.
