safe house plants for iguanas?

hey,i was wondering what kind of basic house plants are safe for iguanas to eat if they want.Also Im not shure about what is safe to put on the floor of the the cage for my two igs.Im currently using plan white paper towls because I know that they are safe.

hi,i personally don't let him near plants.maybe eyes poked etc thats just me.someone else might have ideas. newspaper i think is good bedding material.been using for 20 years.

Hibiscus are not only safe but very good for them to eat. I keep Hibiscus in pots in ALL my Iguana and Cyclura neonate enclosures. They provide cover and a great food source. You can't do better....TC....When the Hibiscus are eaten down I replace them with fresh ones allowing the others to re-foliage....TC

thank you guys for the advice.im planning on building a new enclosure for my two iguanas this weekend and i was planning on coating the wood with polieurathaneand was wondering if its safe to do so.if not,ur suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
