Since yesterday im the happy owner of a Brazilian tegus.He is 2 years old and the sweetest thing on earth.He loves to be petted and kissed because he was raised since birth by a pet shop lady who really loved him and took good care of him.

Im very happy! Now i have all the lizards i wanted!

1 9 years old iguana-TREX

2 monkey tais skinks-Leonardo and Rafael

2 uromastyx- Muffin and Brioche

2 Giant Leopard Geckos-Cookie and Tartine

2 Bearded Dragon- Croissant and Vol- au- Vent ( and their babies)

1 Tegus- Croc

No im Brazilian and i live in Brasilia now although i was born in São Paulo.But you are right, my name, Flavia, is of Latin origin,so its Italian.

Are tegus always soooo tame and calm and sweet or im a VERY lucky lady?

Not yet,lol!I wonder how old is him....He is around 80 cm (32 inches)long but what i noticed is that his snout is long like some species of snake and not round like the photos of tegus i´m used to see.Is it because he is still a juvenile?

What is calling my attention is his tameness.He is still more tame and confident than my stupid-tame Bearded Dragon!

Im sooo happy with my GORGEOUS black and white Brazilian tegus!Besides being sweet and confident and calm he is GORGEOUS!Even more gorgeous than my 10 years old male iguana!
