Saw this sad sight on an early morning run 5-6am last month at Starr Pass resort Tucson. It had been raining heavily for the past few days - the start of the Sonoran monsoon.

PS thanks to Mark Seward for his advice prior to my trip - but I didn't see any diamondbacks
Head shot. I also saw a couple of desert tortoises and a night-snake - not DOR, fortunately. I'll post up pics (also habitat shots) if anyone is interested.
