Posted this in the Tokay forums too, but it's not getting much attention there. Any input if they are approximately the same size and with a large enough cage?

from what i've heard of tokay's they are pretty territorial and cresteds seem to be territorial too. just a gut feeling, but i'm not sure i'd house them together.
Well, they are generally not the same size, so that doesn't work off the bat. Cresteds are mildly aggressive, at least in their fed responses to moving items... Tokays are, well, tokays. They eat small birds after all. Which is not to say they cannot be trained and handled properly, just I wouldn't trust them with any roommates.
As a general rule mixing of any species in the same enclosure is not a good idea. Some have done it, yes, but it just seems to have more risks than benefits.
Two enclosures is really the way to go if you are housing both.
100% agreeing with sleepygecko. tokays are too aggressive to keep with well pretty much anything. they had a leo with 2 tokays in a petland the other day, the leo was missing a foot? that should give you an idea, and on top of that cresteds cb tokays majority wc, tokays and cresteds arent native to anywhere near the same area, different temps etc. just a bad idea overall
i wouldent do it unless you dont like your crested
tokays are knows for having a bad attitudes, i took in some rescues, they had 2 anoles in with a tokay, its been near a month and the anoles are just now back to almost normal, and of the tokays ive seen this one isnt too evil. i also think as far as husbandry, the tokay will need more humidity then a crested, if i have my info right off the top of my head... neither one takes up to much space, so id just keep them appart to be safe. both fun critters to watch for sure, enjoy!

NO! for all the reasons they said plus some. if you look up ideal temps for a Tokay you will find temps that could kill a crestie either way much too hot for one.
