infected glands in female Jacksons?

babysdaddy Sep 15, 2008 06:03 PM

Hi guys. It started about 3-4 weeks ago as a swelling of the temporal/maxillary area with some crustiness at the corners of her mouth. I was treatng it like stomatitis. Cleaning and debriding the effcted area with dilute chlorhex. Today the crustiness returned (the temporal swelling never went away). As I was cleaning it, it began to ooze a lovely thick and purulent green secrection from an opening in the lining of her maxilla. I think it might have been an infected salivary gland. Has anyone ever heard of this in Jacksons or any other species? Or do Jackson's have any specific glands in that region?
