i used to give my box turts puss & boots 30 years ago??? and Mom gave em hamberger now i have 4 RF torts being a forest tort they like Romaine etc. how bout protein?

That poor thing sounds malnourished already. plese get him fresh greens and fruits. Give the cat food to the cat, and give him a wide variety of fresh picked meals with good sunlight. Make a trip to your local farmer's market and pick fresh produce and veggies for him.
Take him to be checked by a vet too, please
