Hi I am new here and to frogs in general. I am hoping someone can help me out. I live in Southern Utah (desert) and I have a sump pump in my backyard. During some maintenance of the pump I discovered 3 frogs living inside the water bucket to the pump. They are so cute! I want to make sure they have a nice life and home in there so I want to study up on them. Where do I start to try and figure out what type of frog they are and what they need. TIA

PS I am pretty sure they are not toads they have smooth skin are pretty small and are green. Thanks

Sound like spadefoots to me, but to be sure could you post a pic?
Or find a pic online that looks like the toads you found, then post the link.
